Catholic Medical Mission Board (www.cmmb.org), works collaboratively to provide quality health care services to people in need around the world. CMMB currently emphasizes three areas of priority: maternal and child health care, HIV/AIDS, and neglected tropical diseases. With the generous assistance of hundreds of volunteers, most of them medical professionals, CMMB delivered medical supplies last year valued at over $265 million to 39 countries in need.
CMMB's work is guided by international health realities. CMMB's focus on HIV/AIDS, malaria, maternal and child health, neglected tropical disease, and other country-specific priorities. CMMB's objective is to develop sustainable local capacity to address major healthcare needs and build strong systems.
